Biography
Jasmine Rose Oberste is a licensed Acupuncturist, nationally certified Herbalist and Hypnotherapist practicing in San Francisco and Berkeley. In 1999 she began studying Tai Ji with Sifu Gene Chen who inspired her to develop a direct relationship with Qi, the bridge between the un-manifested and the physical. This journey led her to pursue a 4 year Masters degree in Chinese Medicine, and continue to explore other forms of traditional medicine.

She works with cancer and other chronic and challenging health problems where Western medicine offers limited healing, and often takes a heavy toll of side effects. She finds herbal medicine, acupuncture and energy work to be especially helpful in these deeply rooted disease processes to restore the mind-body-consciousness to a balanced and energized state of health. Jasmine enjoys working with all patients, including immune support, digestive health, pain, and female health.

Jasmine brings to her work an integrated perspective of complementary healing modalities including Hypnotherapy, Shamanic work and a philosophy of mind-body connection in relation to health and disease. These different modalities share in common the view of each client presenting a unique pattern of imbalance, and encourages the client to engage in an active role in their healing process.

Jasmine studied Acupuncture abroad in Taiwan at the Tzu Chi Buddhist Hospital and continues a post-graduate Chinese medicine internship with Dr. Robert Johns in Berkeley, California. In addition to her private practice, Jasmine is an adjunct professor at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California.

In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, photography, pottery and playing music.
